Next day at school, David and Charlotte has arrived early and are surrounding Selina at her desk, she also having arrived early.
Barely anybody else have arrived yet, Kenny, Lucas and Stacy being the only other people in the room. (Charlotte:)”So how did it go with Chad?” She asks out loud.
This is not going to be secret conversation, mostly because they have already got simple explanation through texts, but it is better getting an update in person.
(Selina:)”Um… it was great… he is fine, everything is fine… Chad is hot…” She accidentally says what she should not have and Charlotte and David just stare at her silently.
Noticing the fuck up she stares in shock at David and Charlotte, this would be completely fine to say with her girl friends, but not these two.
(David:)”Planning on getting together with Chad?” He asks with a little darkness in his tone, Charlotte also staring at Selina like she is dead to her.
Selina starts panicking, these two are super territorial over Chad… actually they are all very territorial over each other! FUCK THIS IS BAD!
Selina starts screaming mentally like usual while the unlikely group of Kenny, Lucas and Stacy gather together and start whispering to each other.
(Stacy:)”Did not expect Selina to want to get back together with Chad.” (Kenny:)”But would Chad want that? I don’t think so.”
Stacy turns towards Kenny, the peasant, the smith, the friend of Lily and Howard. (Stacy:)”Selina is a great catch, why would he not want her?”
Kenny seems to be stepping on glass. (Kenny:)”This-I… I think that if they where together before, then they already know how much they don’t fit each other…
They broke up for a reason.” (Lucas:)”Yeah and Selina is wack.” Lucas ads in and Stacy glares at him making him flinch, Stacy can be oddly scary.
(Stacy:)”Selina is a little rash and crazy, I even used to think she was a lesbian, but this thing she had with Chad might disprove that or… maybe she is bi.”
Stacy seems to be thinking deeply about this, while Kenny and Lucas try not to piss her off… these two guys have little authority and confidence.
David and Charlotte continue to interrogate Selina and it seems pretty much like they are bullying her, Selina also has no excuse for her actions or thoughts… so she is fucked.
More people enter the classroom and see the interrogation happening, Chloe and Ashley where about to shield and help Selina, but betrayed her instantly when they found out the details.
Like how can this “bitch” think she can get back together with Chad? Selina feels like this is the worst day ever, comparable to the “advice” she got from Alexander on the infamous day.
This is embarrassing! After the girl group gather up, Jessica even shows up; the girl group decided to helm the interrogation, they are more vicious in their tactics.
David and Charlotte where quite happy in leaving it in their hands, they know how thorough they can be in digging for information.
Of course while the interrogation is happening in reality, the trio is still continuing their conversation in the mental link.
Which means they can say more strange things now, not that the strange things they say will be helpful for the conversation.
When Selina tries to explain some of the theories behind the magic and her actions, Charlotte and David are just not understanding… it just does not make sense.
A little before the school day starts Chad and Nyarai enter the classroom, many turn towards Chad when they notice his arrival… everybody has heard about it already.
Selina stayed over at his place and watched movies the entire night and supposedly there was a great mood and quite romantic story…
Selina died internally while telling people. Nyarai was quickly let into the know when she asked Jessica and co, she was staring oddly at Selina after.
She did not see this coming, if anything she thought that they would be able to keep themselves away from these subjects for a few more years… she was wrong.
So Nyarai does what she feels like and asks in the mental link about it. (Nyarai:)”Hey, so what is up with Selina liking Chad? When did this happen?”
Selina who is in the link almost has a physical reaction… actually she does, but the people around think nothing of it as Selina is weird… she reacts to things all the time.
You might find her in some random hallway screaming to herself mentally or making some exaggerated motions as if she is trying to kill an invisible enemy… she is weird.
And David answers in a way that burns. (David:)”She is having a:”Does Chad like me?” moment, kind of common actually, she used to have them every day in the past…”
Selina trembles physically and people stare at her, but ignore it after a second or two… she is probably mentally self destructing or something, nothing to worry about.
(Charlotte:)”Selina you traitor!” Charlotte yells at her indignantly, but Chad and David stare at her oddly, Nyarai feels the weirdness coming from them and stays silent.
(David:)”You are not innocent either, you should have the correct memories now right? Do you remember how often you had a:”Does Chad/David like me?” moment?”
Charlotte blushes hard, every little thing she thought was secret was obviously not secret from these two… they could see through it all, they also saw through Selina a lot.
But David continues, but decides to burn himself too. (David:)”Even I have had a:”Does Chad like me?” moment. But compared to you guys who are delusional, I know better.
So why would I think so? Well Chad went out of his way to tell me in extreme detail of his romantic and sexual thoughts of me, so at least I had it for a good reason.”
He nods to himself and the brain of every girl in the mind link explodes… Chad seems chill about it oddly enough.
