In the early days of January, while Alexander was handling the case of the Leon corp mutant lizard outbreak, the gang was back in school and… dancing.
Yup, Chad had been training Charlotte and David in some dance moves, pulled from the internet and who knows where… and they where good.
Charlotte and David following Chad’s choreography, these two very attractive people where even more so this day, David’s charm was almost out of control… almost.
So Selina came in through the door watching Chad, David and Charlotte dancing in front of Nyarai who was recording it on a phone in the classroom.
Not many people where here early except Richard, but nobody cares about him; Simon came in after Selina and also watched in silence as nerdy Charlotte blew his mind with her moves.
Selina’s jealousy and feelings for these three was exploding inside of her so she quickly joined and had Chad teach her the moves.
Strange detail that needs to be mentioned… Charlotte and David the two “nerds” actually have super physical focused powers.
Charlotte is obvious, but David? Brightman’s powers are really just his muscles stuffed with miracles, he can bend reality to his will and under the force of his muscles…
But in reality he just sprays miracles out and it does things. Like it is anger inducing for Chad to be compared to this cheat like character… Chad actually put in a lot of work.
On to the subject of Chad and Selina who are the obvious mages of the party, even though they are the “sporty” friends in this group.
In some strange way they warriors and mages switched positions/personality in this party, Selina is sporty? Chad is sporty? They are obviously ULTRA MAGIC NERDS!
The amount of work and studies they had to do to even get the slightest amount of magical power, compared to the natural endowment of their warrior friends.
But personality and power does not always align, this being a perfect case of that; Chad and Selina are very extroverted and sporty in personality… but not in power.
And the opposite can be said for Charlotte and David who are introverted and nerdy in personality, but are extremely physical and simple in power.
Thought this is not a perfect example as these kids are faking their personalities and sociality… they are playing characters. Strange detail over.
As Selina and Chad were dancing, looking majestic and breathtakingly beautiful, the rest of the popular girls and the rest of their classmates where trickling into the classroom.
Noticing Selina hanging with Chad, David, Charlotte and Nyarai early in the morning sparked the jealousy in the girls who gathered around Jessica.
Jessica was staring hard at Selina who was having a blast; after checking the recording a couple of times and also making one with Nyarai in it.
(Ashley:)”Selina you seem to be very close to Chad and David.” Ashley who knows more than the others start having doubts about Selina not being close to those two.
The rest of the girls also stare at Selina who is like deer in the headlights. (Selina:)”I-They-I.” She does not seem to come up with and excuse and the girls stare harder.
Charlotte and David notice the problems that Selina has gotten into and look over at Chad who is the only one that it makes sense to go over and rescue her.
Chad sighs and steps forward. (Chad:)”I did not want to get into it, but Selina used to be very close to me and… them.” Pointing behind himself at Charlotte, David and Nyarai.
Selina sees Chad as the most beautiful white knight right now… which in her head is not really white, but black… She does not have much feelings for white and bright stuff…
(Chad:)”So me and Selina have a past, which did not end well; we separated from each other never thinking that we would be stuck together in the same classroom in high school.”
Chad suddenly makes it seem like they used to date and Selina feels that he is not a savior anymore, but a devil that is cursing her to death… not that she dislikes devils.
Glancing over at Jessica and co, who appears much more calm now, but there seems to be some newfound jealousy towards Selina now.
Did Selina actually use to date Chad!? Ashley being the only one that thinks that Chad might be speaking in half-truths/lies right now, like he did very recently.
Selina blushes knowing that she just has to stick to whatever bullshit excuse Chad came up with as it is the one she was dealt.
She can’t go telling people the truth now can she? So now she is stuck with this… great excuse. She blushes even harder and screams a little mentally.
Jessica and co stare stunned at the oddly cute Selina, Selina can be this cute? She can blush this hard? WTF!? Even Ashley almost believes it to be the truth now.
Charlotte and David stare oddly at the goings on and glance at each other, why does this happen? Maybe Chad should just stop talking.
Charlotte and David sigh as Nyarai stare oddly at Selina, does Selina actually like Chad? That might be the case, but probably not.
After a strange explanation and Selina who blushed hard, the rumors where spread like wildfire throughout the school. “The boy toy of Charlotte had a lover and it was Selina!”
But oddly enough this was not the strangest part of this day, Jessica seemed a little odd; she did not attack Selina about the rumor and what just happened.
She seemed oddly distant about the event. Not like she knew the truth, the truth being that Selina did not get close to Chad in that way, but through discussing magic.
They got close from their similar life experiences and thoughts about life, it might be obvious, but Selina and Chad are like super close bros.
