Nyarai’s disgust.

While many loaded questions and sentences with double meaning are exchanged, Nyarai is finally seeing the less than nice side of her friends.
The queen bitch side of them, the popular girl side; normally they are not very hostile towards others, but this is one of those moments they are.
Though not that they are being actually hostile, these kids still don’t know what is allowed and what is not.
They are still getting used to being more free and doing more “bad” things; they still have remnants of their childish friendships.
The friendships built on arbitrary reasons and that will not hold for much, the minor things they did that mean less and less the older they get.
Like how these girls “hate” each other, but in reality they have no idea who they will be friends or enemies with in the future.
Early childhood friendships can turn like the flip of a switch from best friends to worst enemies and vice versa, they have little to no real structure to them.
Which is also why Jessica and co are so confused by how little their rivalry to these girls meant and how visible it is when compared to the friendship they have with Chad.

Jessica thought that her bad reputation would make these girls go at her full force, but they where just giving minor passive aggressive reactions.
This was supposed to be a full blown cat fight between their groups, but obviously these girls did not even care about that… which annoys Jessica and co in a new way.
Kimberly and her gang notice this and feel superior compared to these kids wanting to fight, when obviously Chad is too cool for them to act like kids.
They are very wrong, but still successful; they still make Jessica and co feel like shit which might be considered a win.
But there is not much maturity in their actions, some but not much; valuing their friendship over a stupid fight with Jessica is not as mature as they think it is…

This continued on for quite a while, Chad was in the middle of a weird storm of passive aggressive comments and actions.
Nyarai felt it was disgusting, but she was also shocked by the odd feeling coming from her friends; even Chloe and Selina were acting weird.
There was a sense of purpose to Chloe’s speech, like she wanted to win, to conquer, to fight, to mark this place and Chad as her territory.
Nyarai has never felt this much “hostility?”… “aggression?” from Chloe, even Selina is not immune to this, not like sensing her emotions is easy…
But from her facial expression and body language, she appears to be a proud lioness fighting for her pride(pride AKA group of lions).
Nyarai can relate, but… this is also so, childish… This does not change whether you can eat or not, this does not save you from the dangers of the world…
Nyarai is too deep in her thought process on nature and druidism to understand many “useless” modern human things/social constructs.

Chad is somehow still looking casual about all of this, him being even more aware of what is happening around himself than any other person on earth.
His senses are even deeper and stronger than Nyarai, he feels much more and also knows much more about this.
Which is why he can enjoy the minor childish fights and social interactions he has with everybody, the coincidences that form the reality around us.
These fateful encounters… Not like they have much effect on someone that can see or change fate, but he still values these minor moments.
And seeing Chad casually control the conversation, talking about: actors, movies they were in, beauty products, fashion and more.
He appears oddly cool almost like he has tamed these bitches of freshman class 2. <- These are the thoughts of some popular girls… not gonna say which… OK Selina.
Even the hated Kimberly is being super friendly with him, of course some of the surrounding popular guys from class 2 are trying to make him look bad.
But he just casually accepts it like it does not matter, might be because he actually does not care about their words or meanings.
What does it matter to question his dick size, sexuality, or his gender? It makes you just seem even more insecure and sad.
And what is even worse for these guys is that he also gets protected by the girls of their class, they don’t want these guys to bully Chad.
Which ends up with the guys making some excuse and retreating, having to regain some of their reputation later… probably in private away from Chad.
If they see Chad, they might do something stupid again and if they do too much stupid shit then these girls might never think well of them again, ruining all their chances.

Oddly with the retreating of these guys, the girls of both popular groups relax a little more; did they go out of their way to be more hostile in front of the guys?
Or maybe with the obvious bad example of shitty behavior, they all decided internally to be more chill and don’t ruin their good image in front of Chad?
The rest of the time they spent together had much less weird double meaning sentences or passive aggressive comments. It was actually very nice.
Some of the girls from these two groups might even build some friendships together in private, this might even be more opportunities for friends?
Also random thing, Chad got to hear that Anna might be related to Alexander; he was shocked but super happy and kissed her cheek… it just happened, don’t think too much about it.
