There will be many parties and events for rich and powerful during the lives of Chad and co, so this book might be filled by them.
So for convenience’s sake let me explain a little bit about the nobles’ way of life and what it means to be or not to be at these parties.
This party is important for all those that want to grow in Farlong, to have an easier time doing business and build some connections.
Even though the Crimson family is mostly based in Gudbron where the Red magic sibling reside, there is a branch of the family here in Farlong.
There are quite a few Crimson family members that reside in Farlong like:Erika the TV personality being one; Farlong and Gudbron being the two most important economical states in the USA.
And this party would be a chance to show of the strength and prestige of your family, which may be used in deals to ease your way amongst the powerful of Farlong.
This party is not like the birthday party of Charlotte; similar, but different. In this party the young and old members are not separated to two parties.
Which also means that whatever you do will quickly reach the older members of your family, so if you ruin the reputation of your family expect a thorough beating.
Not like separating the party into a party for the kids and a party for the adults would save you from disgracing your family.
Even in Charlotte’s party some may have done some less than good things and rumors of said things spread to the party for adults.
Which was promptly met with outrage by their parents and family who now need to save their reputation to have any chance of working together with Charles.
Either way, parties are a way of building connections and building a reputation and using said reputation to gain deals and economical/political support.
Though not like just anybody can use their children’s birthday party as such, this would only happen if someone like Charlotte held a party.
Or someone invited someone important like Charlotte to their party… So it depends on whether you are important enough to affect things or you invited someone who can.
Using the birthday parties of the kids of your families to build connections with other families are actually quite common.
Which is a big part of the power dynamic of Forlong private school as it allows for quick and continuous interactions between the younger generations of the rich and powerful.
And it is also a quick way for the poor, but talented to have a chance to build connections with the rich and powerful and it fuels a cycle of growth for the privileged.
Whatever, back to the party itself; Charlotte, Chad and David spent some time with Chloe and Simon hiding from annoying people…
BTW Stacy is not here, seems the Hall family is not showing respect to the Crimson family or maybe to just Arthur, even Erika is not here and she is from this family…
Also there are some people of the Leon family here… who Charlotte hates, but she hates like 98%+ of the Leon family so… There are not many people that Charlotte likes.
A party like this is actually kind of oddly depressing, a gathering of losers, opportunists and annoying people of the rich and powerful families that need to save their reputations.
Case and point Ronny Turner and his father Richard Turner showed up, Fred Fullman a man of the Fullman family who are really hurting from the actions of Kent and his father…
Even Don Crimson is here, not like he is important or anything I just think I need to mention this little piece of sh*t.
He is the guy who got thrown into the fountain of this very hotel many times by Selina for trying to bar her from coming to the freshman party at this place.
Also he is related to Charlotte, which is why he has Leon as his middle name; common thing for the families in the region.
Usually you would have the stronger family name as your last name, but if you have a stronger connection to one family, that becomes you last name instead; like inheritors and such…
So Don Crimson is actually Don Leon Crimson, but mentioning everybody’s middle name all the time is annoying so I will only mention it when it matters. Like now…
Don Crimson was having an alright party just like any other party, but he did not know that this party would be very similar to another party.
Chad picked him up and dragged him to some balcony and this was the moment he realized he fucked up, he regretted what he did to Selina and for being born a piece of sh*t.
He was promptly thrown into the fountain by Chad, Don Crimson screamed as he fell into the fountain, but at least this will probably be it right? WRONG!
David quickly jumped into the fountain and pulled the wet Don out and pulled him upstairs, Chad and David high fived as they passed each other at the stairs.
Don was screaming for help but people knew, they knew of the monster called Chad; nobody wanted to save some random kid that did not matter.
David promptly threw Don of the balcony into the fountain, not even catching his breath before Chad pulled him out and dragged him upstairs at an extreme speed.
Chad and David passed each other at the stairs high fiving each other and the cycle continues again, and again, and again, and again until…
Some members of the Crimson family showed up and scolded them, Charlotte quickly glared at said members who promptly shut up to the glee of Simon and Chloe.
Don Crimson was thoroughly shamed on this day, never has anybody been treated like this at this hotel, the closest comparison would be himself at Halloween…
Arthur and Charles got to hear about this and did not know whether to laugh, cry or be angry, these kids always causing problems.
Chloe and Charlotte where very pleased at getting some revenge for Selina even though she did not need any help, Don just doomed his future and reputation when he decided to upset Selina.
