It was very boisterous over at Charlotte’s place, Samandra got Charles and Edward to drink.
She also told many embarrassing stories about the two to Charlotte and James, tipsy Charles and Edward could not stop Samandra.
If you wonder, then Edward got James an ancient knife used in sacrificial rituals; Edward always brings back the coolest stuff.
It was a great time, but when everybody else left to go to bed, Charlotte snuck out as Chameleon and fought some ninjas; which would not go on the news.
The next day, Friday 12th of November; there was a news update about cops coming out and denouncing Alexander for his violent behavior against other cops.
Rumors about him possibly getting demoted and a pay cut, but Erika in her show laid into these idiots and their actions.
(Erika:)”How could you possibly be upset with probably the best cop in Farlong, whoever he punched probably really needed a lesson in how to handle the situation.
There is no way any high ranking people in the police could be behind this, who would be stupid enough to stand in the way of Alexander.
That man has records that no other officer can compare to, he has connections with multiple heroes, high ranking politicians and more that we have not been able to uncover.
He could do better if he quit being a cop than actually staying, it seems he choose to be cop for the people and who in their right mind would not want him to continue?
This has been Erika on the incredibly stupid reaction of some police to the current affairs, let’s all hope Alexander continues working for all of our sakes.”
There was also a report about some robberies done in many locations all over central Farlong region, which Dark mistress, Farmind and Longcat are suspected to have done.
School was like any other day, except people in class where very upset with how Alexander is being portrayed by some news stations.
Even miss Jones seemed upset about it saying something like:”Firing Alexander is similar to giving up on their morals, that man does not waver in his morals.”
Jessica said something stupid and loud like:”Only idiots are in control of Farlong, who would ever vote for any of them again?”
There was many conversations about this topic today, miss Jones spent the entire history class just discussing this topic.
The class felt very indignant about this as most in class feel very strongly about Alexander, having met him and been a part of his case.
Later this day there was a report that Joker had broken some mail boxes and damaged property belonging to some of the people supporting Alexander’s demotion/resignation.
Oddly enough even the clown-troupe have had run-ins with Alexander and they don’t seem to hate him… Actually they seem to respect him?
More like he has had cases where he had to handle the clown-troupe and he did his best, he dropped his gun and had a fist fight with some superhumans and laughed afterwards.
He truly does not want to hurt/kill any of the clown-troupe and the clown-troupe knows this, Alexander is kind of like a nemesis to the clown-troupe, but not really.
Alexander can be considered a representative of the people, the people higher up, the police and just generally civilians; he is a peoples man.
The clown-troupe thought badly of him at first for being a cop, but his actions and his restraint when dealing with Joker and the others showed his care even for misfits like them.
He has once pulled a half dead Joker out of a fight with some ninjas, covering her with his gunfire and carrying her out of a crumbling building… without arresting her afterwards.
He actually just wanted to save Joker and after she got healed up he let her just go, telling her to be nicer to civilians as she left.
He has had many run-ins with the clown-troupe, some good and some not so good, one such occasion being; he has angrily scolded Kingclown before and shot him in the leg…
The coming weekend would continue to expand upon this situation, politicians coming out in defence of Alexander and some denouncing him.
The amount of noise and media coverage for one non-superhuman cop is absurd, he truly is a main character.
This even pulled in the controversies about Nightknight too, those that where speaking up against Nightknight where also speaking against Alexander.
These people are not bad per say, but they definitely are not good; they are just neutral people with their own invested interests.
Of course there where some cops in favor and support of Alexander too, but they were not very loud and with not much support.
Alexander is a strange existence amongst the cops, he acts more in his own moral code than follow the orders given to him.
Which would definitely get him fired if he did not have some superiors that supported his moral and righteous way and some who just wanted to please Nightknight.
This is a sticky and difficult situation to handle for bright and righteous heroes, but there are some who are perfect for dealing with this.
Oddly enough these things are more easily uprooted by and dealt with by the silly and neutral clown-troupe.
So of course the next Monday, the most evil day of the week for the most “evil” group of supervillains, they had a meeting.
A meeting discussing whether or not Alexander is what kind of cop they want in this world, or whether or not they should support him.
As their way of villainy is kind of like:”rebelling against the corrupt normal and broken system” and this seems like something straight up their alley.
