Tuesday 9th of November, at school the next day.
Charlotte walked into the classroom ignoring most of those that call out to her, quickly sitting at her desk after having made a secret signal towards David.
The secret signal, being her rapidly changing eye color while locking eyes with David, her eye color changing being too fast for humans to see.
David opens up a mental connection between him and Charlotte, wondering about what the problem is.
(Charlotte:)”What is up with Chad?” (David:)”You noticed?” (Charlotte:)”Was not easy, he was acting lke nothing was wrong, but it felt strange on some unexplainable level.
Honestly him acting like normal was the problem, if he acted strangely then that is just Chad being strange, but he acted in perfectly normal Chad behavior…”
(David:)”That is not at all obvious.” (Charlotte:)”But you making a sucky excuse before leaving and Chad acting like nothing happened is.”
Charlotte stares into space absentmindedly talking to David mentally and looking very weird, or rather it looks like she is going through some stuff.
(Charlotte:)”So what is happening?” (David:)”Kind of like how you are not yourself, he is not… himself… maybe.”
(Charlotte:)”You do not sound sure.” (David:)”Well it involves magic so…” (Charlotte:)”I thought you understood magic?”
(David:)”I was flexing the little knowledge I had, which was just a copy of Selina’s knowledge, I just quoted her word for word…”
(Charlotte:)”Never expected you to want to seem smart instead of actually being smart.” Critical mental damage, David is knocked out!
(Charlotte:)”Is Chad’s predicament thanks to the “mouth of the world ender”?” (David:)”…Yes, his time is all fucked up.”
(Charlotte:)”So what are we doing?” (David:)”We do nothing much, Selina is the one who knows magic… even though her and Chad’s magic seems not even slightly the same…
We just support them on the side and we accept even a broken Chad who barely knows who he is.”(Charlotte:)””Chad” is not Chad?”
(David:)”Yeah, kind of. He has different memories than what is right, but his souls is still his so… Still him, but a broken version.”
(Charlotte:)”OK, so not as horrible as what happened to me?” (David:)”…Yes, we are not holding a funeral for Chad.”
Chad and Nyarai show up together, Nyarai gets quickly dragged away by Lily to talk about all the super cool things.
(Chad:)”Yo David, Yo Charlotte!” Chad sits next to David. (Charlotte:)”Yo!” (David:)”Yo.” There are two completely different moods in the replies Chad got.
Charlotte who is happy and cheerful and David who is bored. (Chad:)”David, come on! Be happier in the morning, or I will hug you and maybe even kiss you.”
David who was about to agree stops short. (David:)”…Hug is fine thanks.” So Chad hugs David and kisses him on the cheek; Charlotte comes running over to also get some hugs.
Selina entering the classroom seeing this gets jealous. (Selina:)”Don’t be so loving in the morning, damn I also want a boyfriend or two…”
Embarrassing Charlotte who has two “boyfriends”, Selina walks away before Chloe hugs her and comforts her.
(Chloe:)”You don’t need a boyfriend, get yourself a girlfriend instead.” Chloe is acting oddly flirty with Selina, maybe because she is also jealous of the hugs Charlotte gets.
Stacy and Ashley look at each other and shake their heads, not wanting hugs; before they look over at Jessica not paying attention.
So the two of the smile before sneakily hugging her, Jessica jumps a little, but calms down quickly.
(Jessica:)”What?” (Ashley:)”Chloe and Selina are gay now, let’s be gay together.” (Stacy:)”Could I share the words of Bi-ness, where one is with both guys and girls?”
(Jessica:)”What?” Jessica seems very out of it today, confused about something and the rest of the group notices.
(Stacy:)”Why are you so quiet today?” (Jessica:)”Me quiet no. Never. How?” (Ashley:)”Maybe she is in love?”
Selina walks over while being hugged by Chloe. (Selina:)”Absentminded while thinking about the guys she likes, makes sense.”
(Jessica:)”No we are not like that.” (Chloe:)”So it is a guy!” (Jessica:)”…I thought about a guys yes, but not like that.”
Chloe has a face that kind of looks a lot like Lily’s mischievous smug punch me face. (Chloe:)”Really?”
(Jessica:)”Yes, no love involved. Just a confusing guy that I know, personal stuff OK?”
(Selina:)”She definitely has a peasant boy to quench her thirst.” Selina says dramatically. (Chloe:)”Like Charlotte?”
And from the other side of the classroom. (Charlotte:)”I heard that!” (Chad:)”Calm down, we all know your fetish, no need to be defensive.”
An argument is had in the background while the popular girls are interrogating Jessica about a secret peasant boy lover.
Selina being the main force behind the interrogation as she has it the easiest asking the uncomfortable questions.
