It is soon Charlotte’s birthday party.

Now that Charlotte’s birthday party is about to happen this Sunday, the differences in status between her and her classmates will be even more visible.
The freshman Halloween party will probably not be comparable, no other student at the school is the equal of Charlotte.
Many students from different classes came by to ask about the party, being told by their parent to take a chance and try to talk to Charlotte.
Showing off how important she is to the interests of the parents of all her classmates.
Her father will have an extra party separate from hers that the adults can go to, to socialize and build connections.
But for people to be accepted by her father into this party they technically need to be on the good side of Charlotte.
Charlotte is the deciding factor whether or not your family will be successful, the decidedly most important student at Forlong private school.
Chad finds himself becoming a temporary bodyguard of Charlotte during these way too many social interactions.
People even try to bribe him to improve their chances at getting closer to Charlotte, which he will remember and blacklist mentally for being schemers and opportunists.

Their classmates are not as awkward about this whole thing and just frankly say:”My dad begged me to beg you about something, don’t really care; so what kind of party will you have?”
While the students from other classes could never be this frank with Charlotte:”Charlotte, remember that time your cousin’s half sister puked on me ten years ago, how are you?”
Having to try and pretend to be familiar with her and talk about past incidents that have no impact on their actual relationship.
Faking niceties and smiling kindly at her while being able to backstab her at any moment, the kind of people that Charlotte hates.

The rest of her classmates get quite annoyed with the constant stream of opportunists coming to their class.
Specifically Stacy, Ashley, Selina and Jessica rudely interrupt anybody who comes here sniffing for an easy buck.
Telling them all they need to know and throwing them out of the classroom and telling them to not bother Charlotte if they are not friends or family.
Charlotte feels quite odd about this whole thing, thankful for them seemingly standing up for her and being bitchy towards all those who would annoy her.
But odded out by none of them accepting any gratitude for their actions, making excuses like:”They annoyed me, this has nothing to do with you.”
“I just felt like it.” “If you could yell at them properly then I would not need to.” Being too proud to accept her gratitude.
Chad and David laughed about this, how all of them really like Charlotte, but none would actually admit that they do.
Doing nice things for Charlotte accidentally or just cause and definitely not for Charlotte or anything(sarcasm).
Charlotte felt that she got much closer to the popular girls in class from this.

And before the birthday party Chad introduced Charlotte to Nyarai at his castle, it was a shocking revelation of Chad’s wealth and power.
Even Nyarai his “adopted relative” had superpowers and according to David she has the fate of ancient humans and kings; she is destined to be a queen.
Selina came over and talked to Charlotte about superhero life, returning to how Hellbitch always tutors Chameleon in the dos and don’ts of superhuman life.
Selina learned of Charlotte’s passing and did not understand, only somebody like David or Chad could understand something that deep.
Selina knows witchcraft, not philosophy; No idea why Chad knows that stuff, maybe it is something you learn as you grow closer to godhood.
Selina argued that it was not the same as soul possession, which she understands as a witch; Charlotte’s change is not that.
Chad and David did not accept her point of view, something about there being zero difference; but they still accept Charlotte either way.
The gang has fun at Chad’s castle eating spicy food, to the pain of Charlotte, as they know she hates it.
But Nyarai loves it and she was the one who asked for it, Charlotte did not want to step on her fun and Selina and Chad loves spicy food so… They had spicy food.
David was alright with a stomach of steel, Selina cried with a leaking nose(masochist?), supposedly as a witch she is used to horrible tasting potions and cursed food.
Chad smiled while vacuuming up food and Nyarai cried a little, but she controlled herself very well.
And everybody watched Charlotte frown, cry and “die” by the spicy food, why would anybody eat this if they are not a masochist?
Strange how Nyarai did not know here the toilet was and had to ask Chad for guidance, even Selina had to ask; have they never been here before?
But seeing even David ask to be guided to a toilet, she understood that this castle might just be magically difficult to find out where you are going.
At some point of the night Nyarai got lost and was later found in a “pantry” and Charlotte does not understand why Nyarai talked to the “pantry” thanking it.
The Doomsday castle almost exploded again, not to the knowledge of anybody but Chad; a normal day of getting lost in the Doomsday castle.
